Railway Street, Berwick Upon Tweed Guestbook
A lovely stay, the location was very convenient, the place was nice and Chris went out of his way to be helpful. Would definitely recommend

We really enjoyed staying at Chris’ place. It was warm and cosy despite the wet weather and well-located in the centre of Berwick. It was close to pubs and restaurants, but also had excellent facilities to cater for yourself. We wanted to visit the Holy Island of Lindisfarne so this was a perfect place to stay to make this day-trip. We had our own car and we were able to park it outside the house most of the time, but there was a permit readily available when we needed to park the car a few minutes walk away. We only wish that we could have stayed longer!
Andrew - April 2018
Chris was extremely welcoming and accomodating. He even met me from the train. He had lots of information about the area. The accomodation was realy spotless and everything had been thought of. My daughter and I had a lovely relaxing stay and an excellent nights sleep. I would definitely recommend his cottage.
Janet - April 2018
We had a really good time in Chris’s house. The house is tidy, clean and spacious, with everything we needed.
Tiapan - March 2018
I would have given 6 stars if we could. Location was easy access by car and Chris sorted us out for parking. Also about 2 mins from station so really great for that. The cottage was perfect! Comfortable welcoming and tip top condition. Great location for all the sights, good bars and all that Berwick has to offer. Possibly our best Air B&B experience so far. Highly recommended. We will come again.

Beech House, Coldingham Guestbook
This is an absolutely gorgeous house, plenty of space for us all to spread out in and truly relax. The decoration is lovely, the kitchen had everything needed for cooking for 10, and Coldingham and the surrounding area and fab places to explore. Would recommend with no hesitation.
Janis - April 2018
From the moment we stepped into the house we were happy. Chris was so welcoming and knowledgeable of the area, house, amenities. There were some lovely little touches in the house such as a locally baked cake, tea, coffee and milk in the fridge (he had even boiled the kettle for a brew on our arrival!). The house was very clean and modern with a classic edge. It was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed for cooking and generally enjoying our week. There were a large group of us staying but enough space to not feel in each other's hair if we didn't want to. The area itself was lovely and Chris was very helpful suggesting things to do locally. The house was also well equipped with local information and walks. We spent one day in the local area and did a fantastic walk to St Abbs to the lighthouse (highly recommend the local cafe for lunch too- amazing food!). The house is ideally situated to also explore Northumberland (about a 30 minute drive to Holy island/Lindisfarne) and one day we drove to Edinburgh (about an hour drive). There is a Spar right by the house for any little bits and pieces. Parking was fine for us and we always managed to find a space either in a layby near the house or just outside the cottage itself (our party had 4 cars to park each night). All in all we had a wonderful break and would highly recommend it to our friends. I hope we will be back!
Amy - February 2018
Great 12 bed house in Coldingham - literally next door to the Spar and two minutes from the pubs! The house was immaculate and the facilities were first class - it had everything we needed and loads of space for the kids, who loved the table tennis room. The layout of the house was great and Chris had thought of everything we might need, from the tea and coffee and welcome items in the fridge. Thanks for your hospitality Chris!
Bill - February 2018
We stayed as a family - 6 adults, 4 young children between Christmas and New Year and it was perfect for us. As good as it looks on the pictures - decor and style very nice and very fresh and clean. Loved being able to walk to great beach at coldingham but equally good to hunker down and enjoy the cosy living room when the weather was less good! Would def stay again if in the area.
Jenny - December 2017
We had a fantastic stay in Beech House in December 2017. The house was exactly what we needed and the owner could not have bee more helpful on arrival. We found the house easy to find on the High Street and there is a pub and a shop nearby. We spent a long weekend in the house and it was a great find. We can't wait to return and have already booked again for another trip to the area. The house is very family friendly and has plenty of space. I would recommend this to anyone who asked.
Stuart - December 2017
We stayed at Chris's house for a long weekend, 5 couples and 2 kids. The bunk bed room was great for the little ones and they loved the den upstairs with the kids movies. The house was spotless. The location of the house was great. There are a couple of pubs in the village and a shop right next door. It was our friends who met Chris but he was great, gave some tips on what to do in the area.

The house is large, luxurious and extremely comfortable, with the table tennis room a great added bonus! Chris could not have been more helpful with excellent communication. We look forward to returning next year!

We all had a wonderful week in your lovely house. Thank you for your kind hospitality Chris. We loved the area, really enjoyed this part of the East Coast, still natural and unspoilt. The children were safe on the beach - perfect for our 6 year old twins and two year old little Alex. The weather was also marvellous! Merci!

Strathblane Cottage Guestbook
We had a really good three days here. Cottage was lovely and in a great location. Warm and cosy around the fire in the evening after excellent days walking. Great walks in the village and the spectacular coastline right from the doorstep. Good information in the house about the local area and its long history and some good recommendations on where to eat and visit.

We've really enjoyed your cottage - so carefully and thoughtfully decorated and furnished - lots of personal touches. Very comfortable beds! 100% cotton bed linen much appreciated and the Arrow stove + high heat logs were brilliant.
